Hello all, We have the following to sell as we no longer need them. A Kenmore 6,000BTU slider CASEMEMT air conditioner for sale inclosed are pictures. It costs $450+ new and we will sell it for $100.00. We also have a maytag washer and dryer. They both work fine, the washer is electric and the dryer is gas. $100 a peice. All of these items are only a couple years old and work fine. I can provide pictures of the washer and dryer if needed. Any other questions let me know. Thank you, Mike Holden

Office of Councilman Patrick Dowd, September 2009 News and Updates New Council District 7 Staff! Please welcome Emily Keebler who joined our office in August as the new Constituent Services Manager. Emily is a Morningside resident as well as a founding member of Urban Hike <http://www.urbanhike.org/> . Emily can be reached at emily.keebler(a)city.pittsburgh.pa.us. PWSA & Iron City Brewing. On July 31, the Board of the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority agreed to pursue a $1 million claim against Iron City Brewing for unpaid debt. The resolution <http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/district7/assets/2009-07-31-PWSA-Iron- City-Brewing-Final.pdf> was submitted by Councilman and Board Member Patrick Dowd. District 7 Stats. In our 2008 annual report, we provided some statistics on the neighborhoods we serve. Check out our midyear update <http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/district7/html/09_midyear.html> . In the first six months of 2009, we've responded to nearly 550 requests for service! New Legislation Tax Relief for Seniors. On September 2, Councilman Dowd will introduce legislation to simplify the tax relief process for low income seniors. The legislation ensures that seniors only have to file for Act 77 tax relief once, instead of every year. Check our website <http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/district7/> for updates later in the week. Upcoming Events Council to Go. September 10: From 4:30 to 6:00 pm, Councilman Dowd and staff will be at the Bloomfield Farmers' Market for Council to Go <http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/district7/html/council_to_go.html> , our mobile constituent service counter. The Bloomfield Farmers' Market is located in the Immaculate Conception Church parking lot at Friendship Avenue and Edmond Street. September 16: Please join us in Polish Hill from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Polish Hill Civic Association at 3060 Brereton Street. Public Hearings September 15: Electronic Signs. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on this hot topic at 2:00 pm. The legislation up for debate can be found on the City Planning website <http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/cp/> . September 15: Port Authority. Comment on Port Authority's proposed route changes <http://tdp.portauthority.org/paac/> online <http://tdp.portauthority.org/paac/ProposedTDPChanges/Feedback/tabid/507 /Default.aspx> or at an all-day public hearing <http://tdp.portauthority.org/paac/portals/1/pdfs/PublicHearingDetails.p df> . September 16: Commuter Rail. The Department of City Planning will host a community meeting to discuss the feasibility study of a commuter rail linking Lawrenceville, Oakland and Hazelwood. The meeting will be at 6:30 at the Boys & Girls Club, 4600 Butler St. G-20 Port Authority. Do you rely on Port Authority for transit? Port Authority will update riders on route changes during the G-20 summit using Twitter at http://twitter.com/pghtransit. City Council's regular meetings will be moved to Monday and Tuesday during the week of the G-20. City Council offices will be closed from September 23-25. Public Hearing. On September 2 at 1:30 pm Council will host a public hearing in response to a petition from residents of the City of Pittsburgh to discuss events, security concerns and cooperation during the week of the G-20 Summit. You can register to speak by calling the City Clerk at 412.255.2142. Did You Know? Recycling. Recycling is mandatory in the City of Pittsburgh for all residents and businesses. The recycling program is now city-wide and you can mix recyclable materials curbside. The City may provide recycling carts to multi-unit dwellings but building managers must obtain and complete a cart distribution and service agreement form from the Recycling Division.
