[Highland Park] Schenley High Fundraiser - Entertainment books

Neighbors, The students in the Youth and Government club at Schenley High School are having a fundraiser to help support their club's activities. The club's purpose is to educate high school students about the principles of democratic government. The students participate in a model legislature, writing legislation throughout the school year, and gathering for a week-end to debate their proposed laws in our state capitol building in Harrisburg. They need to raise funds to support their trip, and they are selling Entertainment Books for $20 each. The books are filled with discount coupons for dining, shopping, etc. You'll easily make your $20 back in a year! If you'd like to purchase a book, please send me an email and I'll make arrangements with one of the students to get it to you! [Highland Park] cars being cased

A contractor who is working on my property reported to me this morning that two days ago (Tuesday morning) he observed two young Latino males (late teens-early 20s) walking down the 1100 block of North Euclid, taking a good look inside every car on the block. They proceeded south onto the next block of Euclid still looking. He says that they saw him watching them, but kept right on peering into cars. I have asked him to call the police next time he sees this happening, and I will keep a look out myself. Please remember to lock your car and remove anything from sight that could tempt a thief!
