[Highland Park] Theft from Car Trunk

Dear Neighbors, Yesterday, around 2:40 p.m., my wallet was stolen from my purse, which was inside the trunk of my car. I had just gotten back from Frick Park and parked my car on the 600 block of Sheridan Avenue, right outside of my house, for about 10-15 minutes while I ran in to get something inside and then left in the car again. I discovered the wallet was stolen a couple hours later, when my credit card company alerted me to possible fraud. All of the charges occurred around this area - Shadyside, Bloomfield, etc. It is possible that one of the doors was unlocked, but very unlikely. Just wanted to caution you to be careful - apparently, people won't stop at just taking things inside of unlocked cars. They might go into locked car trunks in broad daylight, too. Jenn Lee

I have a very nice coffee table in good condition for sale for $50. Not sure what kind of wood but it's very solid and heavy (teak, mahogany or some other heavy tropical wood). Clean, sleek, classic design (but not "traditional"). Deep dark mahogany color. One drawer. 39"x20"x18" Sorry but I can't seem to get something right about the attached pictures so they're not flattering but you're welcome to come take a look. It's a nice piece.
