We have 8 coat hangers and 7 pants hangers that need a new home. The coat hangers are the type used for a man's coat or overcoat. The pants hangers are the metal and plastic type where the metal hanger clamps the plastic pieces shut. If any one is interested send me an email and I'll put them out on the porch out of the rain. I need a recommendation for someone to fix our box gutters which seem to be sagging in the middle of the house, resulting in several steady leaks through our second floor ceiling. anyone have a name? thanks. (also, I tried to access the archive to avoid repeat queries, but can't, my password is not accepted. anyone else have trouble getting to the archived list?)

Hello Friends, Just a reminder that Brunton's Milk in the returnable glass bottles will be here tomorrow afternoon. Monday we will be starting with Mancini's fresh breads and rolls for all you fresh bread fiends. Breadworks will still be happening on the weekends. We still have a small supply of the tortilla chips and salsa left @ 4.99 for the pair (3.49 ea.) CFL 60 watt bulbs @ 2/1.00......That's CHEAP.................. The parking lot to the store is now accessible by car, best course is up N Euclid from Hampton, right on Bryant, left into the lot. Hopefully the construction will be done this week, with only the street paving needing to be completed. [Highland Park] Ceramic Pumpkin Carving

Hello Neighbors, I wanted to let you know that this Saturday and Sunday there will be ceramic pumpkin carving happening at Union Project from 3pm-6pm. You may choose from small or large hollow pumpkin forms, each individually hand-made by a member of the Union Project Ceramics Co-op. They will be in the "leather-hard" state, meaning that they are firm to the touch, yet soft enough to be carved with a knife, just like a real pumpkin! After being carved, the pumpkin will be dried and fired in our kiln to almost 2000 degrees, and when you pick it up a week later, it will be a permanent jack-o-lantern, safe for inside and outside use.
