Thanks to everyone for your messages of concern and for the suggestions. We called around (Sears, Don's Appliance) and no one could send a mechanic until next week. The only one who came over right away was All Pro Applicance: 412-241-4436. They did a fabulous job identifying the problem (faulty ignitor in the oven) and fixing it. We couldn't be happier and want to recommend them highly. Thanks again for all the responses I got. Neepa
