I have two small appliances - a space heater and a dehumidifier - that have stopped working. Both are only a couple years old and it seems like such a waste to just toss them out. Is there anyone or any business out there that services small appliances like these? If not, is there a school or vocational program that might want them as a project to work on? Thanks - Stephanie

Hello everyone, I am looking for a roommate at my 2 bedroom apartment here in Highland Park in Pittsburgh. I'm a super easy to live with, fun, 24 year old male, looking for a good person to share my apartment with. I work during the week, and am looking at going back to school soon to continue my business degree. I am also busy working on the planning of a catering business here in Pittsburgh! The bedrooms are big, along with the whole place, has a large living room, have a dining room table and chairs already along with furniture throughout, but there is plenty of places for more. And there is plenty of closet space, and room for any of your furniture. The kitchen has a dishwasher, gas stove/oven, and a lot of counter space and cabinets. Washer/Dryer are in the basement, where we can also store anything you need, its a full basement not a little cave. In a safe neighborhood, lots of large windows that make the place nice and bright, and parking is never an issue. Have front and back yard, big front porch, and have front entrance just for this apartment, landlord and his family live on top two floors and use side entrance. Rent is $325 per month each plus utilities. Gas and electric, combined, since November has not been higher than $100-$150 during the coldest months. The gas bill was $15 and electric was $33 for the month of May, that's with 2 people as split expense. Have to be ok with signing a 12 month lease and agreement on utilities. Move in date is flexible, but would like to have someone move in as soon as possible. If you are interested, or want more info, I can provide any details you need.
