On Sunday, June 19, between 1045am and 215pm, 700 block of N Saint Clair, someone kicked in our garage door and only took an old 3 speed used by our ten year old. I'll take $10 for this carpet, about 5x7, maybe a bit larger, that was used as an older kids carpet in a home with dogs. (no smokers!) It is blue, and brighter than it appears in the photo. [Highland Park] Great rowing activity for kids over 12: MWF

Dear Neighbors, My son and his friend are doing recreational rowing at Steel City Rowing in Verona, on M/W/F from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. It runs this week, next week, the week of July 4 (after the holiday) until July 8th. They get personal coaching and it's a great learning experience. The river is beautiful in the morning. It is really close, just down Allegheny River Blvd. If you have kids over 12 there is room for them. It is $50 per week. If you are interested, send me an email & I will email you the application and waiver. You can show up this Wednesday or Friday morning, or start next week. We did some major cleaning, and we've piled things on our porch that we no longer need. Anyone is welcome to come to 820 Mellon Street and help yourself to the items on the porch. This includes: several plastic plant pots (large ones that hold several gallons and small) a small bookshelf plastic outdoor chairs throw pillows a box of energy gu packs in various flavors board games and puzzles etc. kitchenware like strainer, measuring cup, tray small white rug tall wicker basket small outdoor papasan chair books including childrens books and a DSM manual Magazines -- back issues of Real Simple and Cooking Light boxes of nearly blank envelopes left over from Joe Hoffel's campaign ...And plenty of craft supplies and other household odds and ends! Feel free to come and check out what's here. It's all put out on the porch. The furniture items on the porch that we aren't giving away are marked with little notes. Thanks!
