[Highland Park] Free - a few things

Hi there! Following items are all free-to-good-home: - TV cart. From an old school CRT television from the eighties. Not particularly gorgeous, but pretty strong and has casters. It's just a top shelf, a bottom shelf, and metal uprights holding them up. - "Maimeri" rack that once held tubes of oil paints at Top Notch Art. They gave it away when they re-did their store, and I had a stereo on it at one point - it's not super strong, but it's useful for more than paint. - 9 Crabtree-and-Evelyn jars with tops that fit down into them. Formerly held some sort of peppermint-scented soap; I'd held onto them because I thought they'd be useful for crafts, but didn't get around to using them. - 10 different books from the Brian Jacques "Redwall" series. All are used, but still usable. Doesn't include the first one in the series, but you could probably start elsewhere and still enjoy reading it. thanks in advance! Charles

Just moved back to the neighborhood, and looking for a futon mattress. I have the frame, just need the cozy stuff. Also, i am looking for a TV, preferably small(less than 24") and a love seat or small couch. Any donations would be very much appreciated, but i will pay cash as well. [Highland Park] Exterior painting

We are looking for someone to do exterior painting at our house. We had a few estimates last year but decide to just get the porch roof improved. Does anyone have any painters to recommend? The house is 3 story - there are wood shakes on the front and back that need painted as well as trim that goes all the way around. Would probably also get the front porch painted as well. Thanks. [Highland Park] Contractor recommendation

All, I am unable to keep up with all the emails so if someone recently asked for contractor information, I apologize. In January we had 2 new windows installed and our front door replaced. The front door required much customization as we had 2 2' doors that swung open as well as a transom above. I received an e-mail this morning from a friend to join Shoppingbag. It is a scam and virus. It will down load your e-mail, face book, etc. for the addresses and then send e-mails in your name to friends and family. Do not open any e-mail marked Shoppingbag. Sandy
