Fulton Elementary School GardenIf you missed the Summer (where did it go?) garden project, we are now entering our Autumn phase of simple weeding and discussion about plants to put in and how the students can pitch in. [Highland Park] Congregation needs adult child care person during upcoming Jewish holidays

To all, Congregation Dor Hadash, located at the Tree of Life Synagogue building, 5898 Wilkins Ave (corner of Shady Avenue), needs a mature/adult person to provide child care during the upcoming Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. The congregation anticipates 5-12 children, likely not infants. Child care will occur in the synagogue building. Dor Hadash also intends to hire a teenager/aide to support the primary child care person. We understand Pittsburgh Public Schools will be closed on the relevant days, so this is a good opportunity for a teacher or teacher's aide to earn a little extra. Below are the times during which child care is needed. If you are not available or interested in providing child care for each block of time listed, don't hesitate to discuss providing care for some portion of the time. FYI - only one Groupon can be used per visit and it can't be used for birthday parties, group events, family specials/spectaculars, "wild weekday," or preschool/token specials. We are in the market for a new-to-us vacuum that works well on carpet. Our older Dirt Devil isn't working like it used to and we need to replace it with something that can get the job done. Hi neighbors, I recently moved from Highland Park up north and I also recently bought a groupon for Green N Squeaky Clean Housecleaning Service which I now can't use since I no longer live in the city zip code. So, I'm hoping to resell it and recoup my losses. Its an ecofriendly service and the offer is for 2-3 hours of cleaning for 50$ (usually 150) so its a great deal, but they won't drive up to my new house. If you are interested, please let me know.
