[Highland Park] Restaurant Recommendation

We visited Teppanyaki Kyoto Restaurant on Bryant St. last week for the first time. We liked it so much we went back again tonight. The food is excellent. The service was great! The staff and owner are very friendly. And the prices are extremely reasonable. Appetizers and small plates range from $3-$10. Large plates and entrees $9-$15. They offer beer, wine and a large selection of saki. The Japanese pancakes are exceptionally delicious. I highly recommended a visit to this new-ish neighborhood business. We plan to be regulars. Hello neighbors- I am attempting to copy a cool idea I saw in a modern art magazine and need quite a few 8x10 and 11x13 picture frames to pull it off. If you have any lying around that you would like to donate to my crafty plan, I would appreciate it! The more unusual the better but would also appreciate plain or wood frames as well. The point is the picture inside. I am willing to pay small sums if you would rather sell but would like to keep my experiment as inexpensive as possible in case I can't pull it off... [Highland Park] Evensong and Recital

On tap for Thursday, October 4, at St. Andrew's, Highland Park: First Thursday Evensong, 8 p.m., observing the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, with a choral service of Evensong sung by the Parish Choir, Peter Luley, Organist and Choirmaster, Alastair Stout, Associate Organist, Jeremy Jelinek, Vicar Choral. And a fabulous recital to open the fall season, with Laura Krentzman, viola, and Erberk Eryılmaz, piano, playing a program including works by Bela Bartok, Ahmed Adnan Saygun (arr.Krentzman/Eryilmaz), and by our pianist Erberk Eryilmaz. As always on "First Thursday" evenings, a festive reception will follow the service and recital in the Parish Hall. All are invited!
