Hello fellow HPer's, Our dear friends, Mr and Mrs Pampena, who live in Highland Park, are collecting hand-me-down, nice condition children's SUMMER clothing all sizes for orphanages and various communities in Venezuela. Also asking for ADULT gently worn shoes, NO HIGH HEELS, please, they are in need of practical daily footwear. They have family in Venezuela and they assist in distribution of things. They desperately need CHILDREN'S SUMMER CLOTHING, all sizes, and ADULT SHOES, all sizes. Men's and women's - please NO high heels, practical shoes for daily life. If you have any items to give, anything is greatly appreciated. Please put in bags or boxes and they can be dropped off on their porch at 5624 Hampton Street, a few houses from Portland. I have these available for sale: 16 flat square diapers, eoko-tex from EU 8 organic cotton rectangle diapers, double layer in the middle 4 hemp liners, Hemp Babies 2 organic cotton rectangular diapers, Gerber 2 Thirstiest covers, 9-36 months, polyester, orange and tree design 1 Baby BeeHinds cover, purple, polyester,size S 1 Imse Vimse pure wool cover, L, white, 9-12kg 1 Baby BeeHinds pure wool cover, M, orange I loved these! Used for one child. Square diapers are super easy to wash and dry, just fold it and cover it with diaper cover! Liners for extra absorbency. Both polyester and wool covers are amazing, no need to wash wool covers after diaper change, just air them out unless soiled. Diapers or liners, $1 each, $30 all. Covers are $5 for each in polyester, $15 for each wool cover. Everything is excellent or very good condition. I will prefer selling everything to one person for $75, but I will sell separately if I can not find a single buyer. I can email more pics. Thank you! It has suspension system, air filled tires, swivel locking front wheel ( you can run straight or maneuver), near-flat recline, water resistant fabric. This is a message from Allegheny Alerts. The Health Department announced today that it will open its second COVID-19 point of dispensing (POD) next week in Castle Shannon. The POD will be staffed by members of Allegheny County Emergency Services (ACES) who have been trained in storage, handling and administration of the vaccine. The appointment-only POD will open on Tuesday, February 16 inside the Castle Shannon Fire Department Banquet Hall at 3600 Library Road. Appointments will be available to those 65 years and older only. There will be no on-site registration or walk-up appointments. Any person arriving at the site without an appointment, or who is not 65 and older, will be turned away. Individuals 65 years and older will be able to register for appointments at the Castle Shannon POD online beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 13. Links will be published at that time on the Health Department’s COVID-19 Vaccine Information website (www.alleghenycounty.us/COVIDvaccine) and sent through Allegheny Alerts. Phone registration will be available beginning at 9 am on Tuesday, February 16 by calling 2-1-1. Appointments over the phone are intended for those who do not have access to a computer or the internet or who have difficulty navigating the online registration system and will be reserved for callers meeting that criteria.
