Hello there, My name is Jaclyn Psenka. I am a doctoral student researcher at The Chicago School seeking participants for my dissertation study exploring how the Highland Park community continuously heals after gun violence on July 4th, 2022. This research has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of The Chicago School, IRB-FY24-177. I am looking for participants between the ages of 12 and 70 who feel they are part of the Highland Park community and have experienced or contributed to positive change after July 4th, 2022. The purpose of this study is to listen to your process of healing with others to help inform other communities of different features that can support resilience. Dear Neighbors, Thank you to our neighbors whose efforts went to donate for our last collection, as we picked up the much needed items from many of our neighbors, and delivered them to NRP, where they were gratefully appreciated !!! We are again letting our neighborhood know that we, Mike and Brigette Nadler, will be driving the neighborhood picking up for the monthly NRP (Formally FOCUS) Collection this coming Tuesday, 11 FEB 25. We will be around the neighborhood starting at 9:00 AM that morning, collecting of ESPECIALLY NEEDED NON-PERISHABLE FOOD to restock their pantry, as their stock is very low, as well as useable Clothing that is clean and sorted. Child care recommendations

Hello, My partner and I are expecting our first this August but despite being here in Pittsburgh for almost 5 years we don't have anyone in our circle with children and are looking for recommendations for childcare. We should have 6 months leave between the two of us so we won't need anything until next January but know that there can be long waitlist. We don't necessarily need to be in Highland Park. My husband works at Pitt so any of the areas around Highland, Garlfied, Oakland, etc would be options. We will be needing full time Monday through Friday as well. Any recommendations that we can look into would be greatly appreciated. We also don't have need it to be a large scale daycare, if there is someone in the neighborhood that runs a childcare at home we'd love to hear from them as well. Thanks Kate
