Join local wellness studio Rebel Wellness <https://www.rebelsinwellness.com/> and local brewery Two Frays for a fun evening of cooking to kick off Dry January and 2025. Blake Watterworth of Rebel Wellness will teach us how to make plant-based burgers with some delicious game-day side dishes. During this two hour workshop, each attendee will: -learn how to make plant based burgers and side dishes (and take home the recipes!) -enjoy the burgers and side dishes -enjoy 1 can of the non-alcoholic beer, "Mindful Rebel", that was created as a collaboration between Two Frays Brewery and Rebel Wellness This workshop is brought to you by our sponsor and friend, Square Cafe. Christmas Tree Recycling - Thanks neighbors!

Just wanted to update the neighborhood on the tree recycling that happened this weekend. Sending out a big THANK YOU to so many for supporting this effort and for keeping trees out of the landfill! We were able to collect around 140 trees yesterday! And another Girl Scout troop collected 90 on Saturday! And there was a BSA troop who picked up about 35 trees as well, delivering them to the goats in Garfield! (All of the exclamation points for this one. ;-) ) Over the past 10 years, our troop has kept around 1300 trees from the last fill, and I hope even more by raising awareness of why folks shouldn't put their trees out for the trash. THANK YOU for making this a success story! A huge shout out here, also, to Gardenalia for the use of one of their trucks for many years for this program for our troop, and, previously, for another troop! https://gardenaliapgh.com/ We also had our annual Tazza D'Oro hot chocolate break Sunday morning: yay! There is a final pick up in Squirrel Hill and Greenfield next weekend. If you have friends in those areas, please share with them about the opportunity. If you haven't already done so, please fill out our very short SURVEY so that we know what is working for these meetings and what we can improve. friendly stray cat looking for a home !

Hello All- I’ve been trying to rescue stray cats around my house . Though it is an uphill battle in my area , this small gray boy approached me last week, was very friendly and seemingly a stray ( not fixed and very hungry , slightly mangy and clearly still young ) . I was able to find him a temporary refuge . I already have two cats and cannot take him on, so I have been trying to find him an adopter through friends and Pgh networks considering most shelters and organizations doing this are already quite full. I have his vaccinations / neutering scheduled and paid for. If you or anyone you know would like to adopt an extremely friendly and cuddly stray, please let me know ! Free Baby Boy Clothes 6M, 9M and 12M

Hi! I have a big bag of boy baby clothes. A mix of winter and summer. Some of the items still have the tags on because the seasons didn’t align with our huge baby. Jeep hit on parking pad on Velie Way
