Hi all, Senator Lindsey Williams is hosting a meet and greet on Saturday, October 19th at 10 am at the Highland Park Dog Park. Bring your pup and meet with Senator Williams! We'll be chatting about Victoria's Law (SB44) and other animal welfare proposals. We'll also be holding a pet supplies drive and collecting items for the East End Humane Animal Society. Hardwood floors recommendation

Dear Highland Park neighbors, I am happy to recommend Nova Flooring <https://novaflooringpgh.com/>for hardwood floor refinishing. We just had our entire first floor sanded and sealed. It is original to the house (100 y.o.) and looks beautiful. Nova was fantastic to work with from scheduling to clean up. The team that worked on my floor were true artisans. They really know wood and advised me on how how the stain would be taken up. They moved my furniture out and back, padded the feet of all the furniture and left me with a floor cleaning kit. They sealed up the doorways with plastic and were supremely careful about dust. There was not a speck of dust anywhere during or after the multi-day sanding. I had floors refinished in another house so I know the difference between "okay" and excellent quality service and results. If you call Nova tell them I referred you. -Alyson Bonavoglia
