Car break in on Callowhill

Hi All, Last night, someone broke into my car which was in my garage and stole a bunch of things that we’d left inside, leaving the center console and glove compartment open. Luckily, they didn’t take my car, but I thought it’d let the neighborhood know, if you’re not locking your car, even if its in your garage, it’s time to think about doing that. Police officers encouraged these attacks and typically arrested the black victims, charging them with “inciting to riot.” In attempting to explain why black swimmers were being attacked at Highland Park Pool but not at other city pools, the Pittsburgh Courier wrote: “The whole trouble seems to be due to the way Highland Park Pool is operated. It is the only city pool where men and women, girls and boys swim together. This brings the sex question into the pool and trouble is bound to arise between the races.”'

Stolen Garden Items

I live on Wellesley Road. In mid June I noticed that a lantern I had hanging near my front entry was gone. Today I saw that a gargoyle that I had perched high up on a column was also missing. My neighbor is missing two flower pots that were flanking his front gate. This is disappointing, maddening and ultimately very sad. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar losses? I guess we all need to be watchful.
