I'd like to invite all my neighbors to the upcoming open studios at the 448 Art Lofts, across the river in Etna. Tonight's open studio is part of a larger Etna Art event with openings at the Etna Studios and River Project as well. My studio at 448 Art Lofts is #754. I'll be showing a variety of new work as well as works in progress. The 448 Art Lofts are at 448 Butler St in Etna. I will be renting out one furnished bedroom in my duplex on Jackson St. as of Dec. 1; move in and out dates are somewhat flexible, though. This is a temporary (preferably 3-month, but negotiable) rental. House was completely remodeled 2 years ago. New paint throughout; laminate floors; no carpet. New kitchen with gas stove, great counter and cabinet space and dishwasher. House has 3 bedrooms, and is occupied by me and one occasional tenant; third bedroom is a tv/exercise room. Basement with storage and use of (free) washer and dryer. I have a small, friendly dog, so subletter should enjoy them. Lots of street parking. Bath is new but shared. Monthly rent of $650 includes furnished room (bed, bedside table, desk, lamp, etc. + linens, if wanted), all utilities, cable, wifi, Netflix/Hulu and shared household and cleaning supplies. Quiet house occupied by a female professional; no smoking inside; no partying, heavy drinking or drug use permitted on premises. International students are welcome and appreciated...former housemates are from Mexico, Germany, France...I speak Spanish and have lived/worked in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Photos by request. Hi neighbors! We have been seeing this kitty on-and-off this summer - and then, over the past few weeks she's practically taken up residence on my neighbors' stoop and in our backyard playhouse. We are on Winterton, with backyards that back up to houses on Heberton. Kitty is super-friendly and has a gray flea collar but no tags or bell and none of the Winterton neighbors we checked with so far claim her. Just trying to figure out if she is a wanderer who has a home and just likes to visit us, or if she's an indoor cat missing from someone's house? Let us know! Martha
