Wonderful dog seeks a loving new home!

Hello neighbors, I am posting the following to the list serv for my daughter: It's with a heavy heart that I have to reach out and ask if anyone can provide a loving home for my beloved black lab mix, Nugget. He is approximately four years old and about 80 lb. He's amazingly sweet and will love you forever. He is extremely people friendly and is, of course, house trained. Although he currently lives happily with three other animals (two dogs and one cat), he doesn't initially get along too well with other animals. However, with the right introduction, he can clearly learn to coexist and be best friends with them. He is up to date on all his shots, is fixed and has a microchip installed under my name. I love this pup with every fiber of my being and need to see him to a good loving home, preferably without having to involve shelters. If you or anyone you know is looking for a dog and will love and take care of him right, please please let me know. He deserves the best. Please reply to this email. Thank you. Melissa

local kitty found deceased

Hey, neighbors. Sorry to do this, but a pet sitter I know found a deceased cat on a porch in the neighborhood. The home is located on Negley near the King Estate. Adult dilute calico. Please join us for the August HPCC monthly meeting Thursday, August 20th at 7PM at St. Andrew's Church! Meetings are open to the public. Commander Lando will be on hand from 7- 7:30PM in case you have any police department questions. We will also be accepting nominations for HPCC Board members. If you are interested in getting involved, please attend! Our main speaker will be Michael Potoczny, Park Manager & Designer at The Wheel Mill. The Wheel Mill is an 80,000 SQ FT indoor bike facility with obstacles and courses for all skill levels and types of bikes. They have a passion for the community and are a grass root effort. They love making people happy and able to ride bikes with confidence. The Wheel Mill does a variety of community programs and events like Positive Spin, Major Taylor and Summer Camps.
