Seeking woodworking advice

Does anyone in our little corner of paradise have expertise with things like stains, and oils? I have fallen in love with tung, and linseed oil finishes, but realize I need a bit of education here. What stains can be used in combination?, homemade stains?, pickling stains?, what waxes? That sort of thing. I am getting some nice results, but am discovering there are some basic tenets I am missing. I am finding a lot of info online, but not answers to the questions I need to ask. After meeting with nothing but roadblocks from the Board of Education and 311, Brittany from Deb Gross' office provided information re: pesticide spraying at public schools. PA provides a registry for those of us who are hypersensitive to chemicals and suffer from being poisoned. Companies and governmental agencies are required to notify those on the list. Antique prints

hp--laptop repairs

turned on my laptop to an error message saying the cooling fan isnt working? i vacuumed the vents, which worked last time but it didn't this time. the laptop is 3 1/2 years old. does anyone have a suggestion or a reasonable way to fix it, i hate to spend a lot to get it fixed when probably would get a new one....thank you
