more stolen bikes

Two of our (unlocked, since we had been just riding them earlier) bikes were stolen from our garage tonight. We were home at the time, but had left the garage door opened since we had pulled the grill out for dinner. We were in the back of the house the whole time with the windows open and didn't hear a thing. I realize this is a long shot, but I am selling two tickets to the 7pm show Friday night July 11 at Pittsburgh Winery in the Strip. Paid $40, would be happy to get $30. But negotiable. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks. from the FB page: "Jimmer Podrasky has done a lot of things over the past 24 years, but coming home to Pittsburgh, PA is not one of them. On Friday July 11th, that will change as the Pittsburgh Winery welcomes Jimmer back to his hometown for two shows. Jimmer will be introducing songs from his new CD, The Would Be Plans, as well as revisiting much of The Rave-Ups back catalog. While Jimmer has spent the past few decades in Southern California, his backing band will have quite the Pittsburgh feel. Joining him on the Winery stage will be guitarist Steve Morrison (Affordable Floors), Steve Seel (A.T.S), Rod Schwartz (11th Hour), Dave Klug (11th Hour, Hector in Paris), and Terry Divelbliss (Seven Color Sky). Shows begin at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM and are strictly limited to only 100 tickets per show. Opening both shows will be Pittsburgh’s own The Optimists."

break-in update

People asked for descriptions. here is what we know: happened sometime between 11 and 1130ish Tuesday morning. There were apparently two men - but we only have description for one - the other was already in car when PWSA guy saw them. middle-aged (50ish) black man, normal build (not fat, not skinny), long thin face with big ears, wearing a white polo shirt with thin stripes, jeans, and a hat - nice clothes, not ratty. Maybe bald - no hair peeking out from under. They wore gloves. Car was parked on Wellesley-ish right off North St Clair, cream/light colored Jeep Cherokee.
