Please come support the local high school boys soccer team as they scrub cars to raise money for their soccer program. Our first 2014 Obama Boys Soccer car wash is this Saturday at Vento’s Pizza in the Home Depot parking lot on Highland Ave. We need to raise money so all students can participate in all team activities. Stolen Packages

We had two packages stolen off our porch yesterday. Separate shipments, both confirmed delivered at noon by UPS were missing when we got home after work. Amazon is replacing the merchandise, but I wanted to make everyone aware that someone is taking packages. I know this happened a few months ago in Shadyside (there was a string of thefts) so it may or may not be related. Just a heads up to be on the lookout.

I currently rent a three bedroom house in Garfield and am looking for two new roommates. The house is located near Friendship and East Liberty, close to Penn Ave. Free, on-street parking is available and there are several bus lines nearby (71A, 71C, 87, 88). The first floor has a kitchen, living room, and dining room. There are two bedrooms on the second floor along with a small office/library. The last bedroom is on the third floor. The house has a front porch and backyard with a vegetable garden. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the basement. I am looking for female, 20somethings willing to split cost of groceries and share cooking duties, and who are able to maintain a clean living space especially in communal areas. Hello, neighbors, I have a Nextar 3.5" Satellite Navigation GPS. Used once, I think. Mint condition in the box. It features a color touch screen. Comes with a stylus, a soft pouch, memory stick, 5V adapter, and dashboard mount (still in the wrapper). Internal battery is rechargeable, and with a mini usb cable, you can plug it into any car charger. I don't have the manual anymore, but it's available online, and I can give you the link.
