My husband just tried to lure the dog near him with treats. He was on N. Highland Avenue near park but cut through a yard and is now on Browning Road. Husband said he appears very thin and very skittish. I hope the owners read this list or perhaps someone knows its owners. It is scary as dog running up and down N. Highland Ave. Marsha Aarons

HP community, I have a friend who is getting married. She had a houseful of furniture before leaving for Iraq (army). After returning, she collected some more, then gave it away before leaving for ministry/mission 18 mnth trip...where she met her groom to be. Now, she has no furniture for their new apartment together. If anyone has worthwhile furniture they are looking to give away or sell inexpensively, they need everything; bedroom to dining room. [Highland Park] lost German Shepherd

Around 5:00 pm this very large, sort of fluffy German shepherd was running around Beverly Place (off N. Negley, near Hampton and Bryant), hiding in backyards. He would not come to me for a treat and took off when I called to him. I think he ran down towards King Ave. and did not come back to Beverly. I hope the owner gets out before dark to find this dog because he is running across streets.
