Girlfriends of mine were coming in from State College tonight for Wicked at the Bennedum and weather is keeping them away. Tickets for tonight's show are selling on Stub Hub for $150. At the Bennedum there are individual seats still available- ours are four together. We purchased them from an online site and are asking for our face value of $90. Anyone spontaneously free tonite and want four tickets? Are willing to sell individually or together. Please let me know ASAP. Christy Martsolf

[Highland Park] Choral Evensong & Recital

As we swing along into this wintry February, Choral Evensong will be sung this Thursday, February 6 the First Thursday of the Month, by the St. Andrew's Parish Choir, under the direction of Peter Luley, Organist and Choirmaster, with Propers to observe Candlemas, the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, the Purification of St. Mary the Virgin (continuing from February 2). The Choir will sing the Evening Service in C and the anthem, "Lighten Our Darkness," both by Charles Villiers Stanford (1852-1924). As is customary on "First Thursdays," the service will be followed by a brief musical recital. This month our featured guest is Megan Ogden, mezzo-soprano. She will be accompanied by pianist Inessa Beylin. All welcome!
