cell phone service results

The neighbors came through once again. I am overwhelmed by all of the responses about inside the home cell phone service in Highland Park homes. Thank you so much. In general there is more satisfaction with Verizon and Sprint and less for AT&T for indoor cell phone reception in highland park. A few with AT&T service mentioned a cell phone booster to help with inside signal strength and suggested negotiating for a discounted or free booster. So, I called AT&T. They mentioned that signals sometimes have a difficult time getting through brick. Don't know why that seems to be more true for AT&T than Verizon or Sprint in our neighborhood - maybe it's where the towers are located. In any case, they agreed to give me a free cell phone booster because I've been with them so long, so I'm sticking with them. Information is power guys. CALL FOR ARTISTS Pittsburgh Society of Artists New Member Screening The fall new member screening will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Drop off is from 12:30-1:00pm at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts located at 6300 Fifth Ave in Simmons Hall. Applicants must submit 3 gallery-ready art pieces that are exclusively created by the applicant and made within the last two years. The application fee is $20.00. Consider becoming a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists as it prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The guild offers artists in all media the opportunity to join with fellow artists in the lifelong pursuit of artistic expression. Twice yearly new member screenings are held at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside. Since 1965, PSA has been dedicated to providing artist members with exhibition opportunities. The guild also encourages creative thinking through membership meetings, workshops, member critiques, field trips to museums, artist studios and much, much more. looking to borrow a cello

Hello HP'ers! I am trying to get back to playing the cello after a couple of decades of not playing at all. I want to wait a while before purchasing a cello for myself, and I thought I'd check with the neighborhood before renting one. So does anyone have a full-size (4/4) cello that is not currently being used? If so, would you be willing to lend it to me for a few months? I don't mind if it needs some TLC before it's played -- I can clean it, replace strings, etc. I also don't necessarily need a bow. If it turns out that I like it (and can afford it) and you don't want it anymore, I will probably offer to buy it from you.
