Movie Screening

Neighbors - Thanks to all of you who came out for our screening of Blood Brother at the Seminary earlier this year. Next Fri, Oct 24 at 7pm, we will be hosting a screening of Chasing Ice, the award-winning documentary that chronicles climate change through the camera lens of Nat'l Geo photographer James Balog. Environmental activist and Lutheran pastor Paul Lubold will lead a conversation afterwards that will discuss (among other things) the midterm elections and environmental issues. This is a terrific movie for older kids (10 and up) as well; visually stunning and very moving. We encourage you to come and bring the kids in your life! 3 tier plate rack to borrow for October 18th

Dear neighbors, I am throwing a baby shower in my house on October 18th and I wonder if I could borrow a 3 tier plate rack for serving some foodies. I don't have any at home and since I have a small house full of things I don't think buying one would make a good idea. If I could borrow/rent it for the day I will really take good care of it (we are only adults in the party), and bring it back the following day. Thanks a lot for your help! Elisenda

All, I am looking to buy a bathtub like the one pictured, with the apron on 2 sides, and ideally a radiused corner. If you have one laying around, or you have one you are about to pull out in a renovation, let me know. Must be 4 foot 6 long and have plumbing on the left ( unlike one in pic which is on right).
