[PennDOT left-cmyk] Traffic Advisory Oct. 24, 2014 Route 8 Butler Street Milling and Resurfacing Work Next Week in Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing milling and resurfacing work on Butler Street (Route 8) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Monday-Friday, Oct. 27-31, weather permitting. Intermittent traffic stoppages will occur on Butler Street between the Highland Park Bridge and Baker Street weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 31. Crews will conduct milling and resurfacing operations and line striping. The work is part of the Route 8 Heths Run Bridge replacement project. The existing bridge built in 1913-14 has been replaced with a new structure. Additionally, the project includes reconstruction of 870 feet of Butler Street, improvements on One Wild Place, drainage, and sidewalk and signal upgrades. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect possible delays.

Treadmill for sale

We have a ProForm Treadmill for sale. It has several advanced features around its electronic dashboard and has multiple running programs. Very satisfied with it but just have never used it since purchasing it due to having two children, advancing career etc. In excellent condition as it's been used only approximately 50 times. Purchased new for $1000. Willing to take $325. Also, my husband Lawrence will both help load it and if you'd like unload it at the new location. It is currently stored in our finished basement; it has a folding feature (running deck folds vertically) making it space economical in smaller environments. It has wheels on the motor housing edge so one person can move it around a room but moves up and down stairs are definitely a two person mission. Highland Park Garden Club

Hello neighbors, The Highland Park Garden Club will have its monthly meeting this coming Saturday at the Union Project building, corner of Stanton and Negley. It will start promptly at 10:00 am. We will see a presentation by Kathryn McGregor owner of the "Pennsylvania Natives" nursery located on Ira Way in Squirrel Hill. Our Horticulturist Rachel will present a short program on dividing and cleaning up houseplants for the winter. If we have time after the main program I will show our pictures of the Longwood gardens near Winterthur Delaware and the Japanese garden of San Francisco. I hope to see you then. Happy leaf raking!
