We currently are paying zillions of dollars to Comcast and would love to cancel and accept one of these "deals" offered by Verizon, but Verizon does not offer ROOT. Join the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary at the 30th Annual MLK Celebration and Kelso Event! What: A Celebration of the LIfe and Witness of the Rev Dr Martin Luther King, Jr When: Sunday, Jan 19, 3:30pm Where: Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 250 N Highland Ave Why: Because it will be fun and celebratory and it's important to honor the good doctor's legacy How much: Free and open to the public, although EECM would love donations of nonperishables for their food bank Our Kelso speaker is Dr Iva Carruthers, a well-known activist and educator from Chicago.
