Hi neighbors, We bought 750 sqft of new, in box, pre-finished, mohawk hardwood of solid dark walnut, 2 3/4 inch wide planks at an auction and have had second thoughts about the color for our home. It is gorgeous prefinished walnut- very rich looking! but our home is fairly casual not formal at all. Hi Neighbors,These items may be great for an extra room or for a room rental to students/tenant.The wooden pieces are antiques and are very sturdy, with mahogany veneer. There is minor damage to some of the finishes, but not to the structural integrety. I was told that "Old English" cream would help diminish this problem. The desk/dressing table has a mirror which can be hung. The mirror has some problems thus I would throw it in for free. I am asking $75.00 for each piece.The barstools are covered with black vinyl or leather (can't really tell) very sturdy and in very good condition--$35.00 each The chair is in great condition and very comfortable. The fabric is a bit faded, but still looks nice. $50.I will send photos on request,. If you want to take a look, please reply to this e-mail or call 412 608 2178 any time but between 3-6 Mon. - Fri. Saturday, October 6, is the date of the 2012 Pittsburgh "Walk to End Alzheimer's" right here in Highland Park. This Sunday morning, September 23, at the "Coffee and Conversation" hour between the two services, 10 a.m., in Brooks Hall, our own Dee Stein, Family Service Coordinator of the Greater Pittsburgh Area Alzheimer's Association, will give a presentation on the Walk itself and the important work of the Association. There are few families who haven't been touched by this disease, and projections are that even greater numbers will be affected in coming decades. We're all invited now to join in the conversation.
