Saturday, October 6, is the date of the 2012 Pittsburgh "Walk to End Alzheimer's" right here in Highland Park. This Sunday morning, September 23, at the "Coffee and Conversation" hour between the two services, 10 a.m., in Brooks Hall, our own Dee Stein, Family Service Coordinator of the Greater Pittsburgh Area Alzheimer's Association, will give a presentation on the Walk itself and the important work of the Association. There are few families who haven't been touched by this disease, and projections are that even greater numbers will be affected in coming decades. We're all invited now to join in the conversation.
