Hi, I am pulling together a mobile project for my preschool coop and find that I have no wire hangers (and the group does not either). We need 6-10. Does anyone have a few that they would be willing to donate? Also, we will be using old CD's to decorate and hang from the hangers. I've got a small supply, but wondered if anyone had any they would also be willing to pass along to keep them out of the landfill? Small CD's would be great, too, if you have any of those. [Highland Park] nutritional yeast!

We have a ton of nutritional yeast as a result of a 25 lb bulk purchase from Whole Foods. I grossly overestimated the amount this would be and there's no way we can possibly use all of this in our lifetime. This is wonderful on popcorn, soups, baked goods, spreads, etc. It's both delicious and rich in vitamins. If anyone is interested, please contact me and come on over with a container to fill! Dear Neighbors, Yes, here I am again! The Jr. Girl Scouts are going to be participating in World Thinking Day on April 20 at the Islamic Center. Officially the date is Feb. 22, but we're celebrating at a different time. In preparation for this, we need to do a specific activity from a list of options. - http://www.girlscouts.org/who_we_are/global/world_thinking_day/juniors_wtd.… Invite a returned Returned Peace Corps Volunteer <http://www.peacecorps.gov/wws/speakersmatch/>to speak to your group about how the natural environment impacts people’s lives in the country where she/he served and compare her/his experiences with your own community. I thought I'd reach out into the Highland Park Community to see if we have anyone who has served in a country with environmental issues, such as drought, famine, deforestation, flood. All these events can be exacerbated by our impact on the environment. Thoughts of Ethiopia, Mali, Haiti Pulau, etc. come to mind. I don't have an exact date yet.
