Hello neighbors! I am in need of a babysitter for every Thursday 4pm to 6pm only. My son is (almost) 3 yrs old and we live on Jancey St. in Morningside. A responsible High School student who is close by and love to play with kids would be great! I can pay 5-8$/hour. There is really nothing else to do but entertain and supervise my son at our place. He is very mellow and easy going. I might even be a little less than 2hrs because I only teach an hour class at Winchester Thurston from 4:30 to 5:30pm. But will still pay for 2 full hours if so. My actual babysitter is no longer available because her work schedule changed :( Please email me back if you are or know someone interested. We could then plan on meeting before we start. Hello, We are looking for 2-3 home health aides who have their state abuse clearances to assist my 95 yr. old father-in-law with his ADL's. He is healthy but has hearing difficulty and slight dementia that requires redirection at times. We would need someone strong enough to help him transfer from walker to toilet, bed to walker, etc. He also needs assistance with toileting/bathing. He weighs only about 130 lbs. and is quite frail. He is extremely pleasant and lives with his wife at Maxon Towers apartments in Sq. Hill. She is 90 and not able to do this kind of care. Ideally we would like 2-3 people to work two day shifts of 8 hours each. We may also require an overnight awake shift because he does get up in the night & must be monitored, redirected, etc. Exact shift times and hourly rate would need to be worked out with my mother-in-law. FAME Informational Fair Saturday, October 27th from 10 am - 12 noon at the Kingsley Association FAME's mission is to provide African American students access to college preparatory education at participating independent schools in the Greater Pittsburgh area through the provision of need-based financial assistance. FAME also provides support to scholars and alumni throughout their academic careers. Ultimately, through this work, FAME's intention is to increase the number of African American leaders in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
