Looking for a responsible, warm person to pick up our four-year-old daughter from school and care for her in our Highland Park home, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, starting at the end of August. This person would play with her and prepare a snack, probably from 3.15 - 5.15 p.m.. Driver's license and clean driving record required; own car preferred. Friends, The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is seeking a grant that we can only win with your votes, and you can vote daily through August 31st. We are seeking a $25,000 grant for our sea turtle rescue program. Pepsi will announce the grant winners on September 22nd. WOOF WOOF!!! BOW WOW!! Doggie BIN GO! DOGGIE BINGOis a Highland Park Community Project promoting walking & talking in our neighborhood. It captures our canine neighbors’ faces & a bit of information to create a game for all. (Hosted by HP residents Amy and Maritza, last seen at The Bryant Street Festival…woof!) We would like to photograph your wonderful dog to put on our DOGGIE BINGO cards. Come with your beautiful dog and get their picture taken… we will share rules of the game when you come get it snapped. We will also share biscuits and watermelon, eat what you will… but the doggies prefer biscuits! What could be better…??? Summer Bingo, Dog Walking, Watermelon Eating …Yeah! …Woof! Hey, all. I'm trying to put together a gift for my niece's Sweet 16. She would love to travel to France someday, so we're putting together a bank (with a little starter money...) covered in pictures of all things French. Then we had a brilliant idea.... A co-worker just purchased a home that needs a variety of updates. They are looking for contractors who are lead certified or have expertise in green building. Please see below for her request: I am looking for a contractor who is lead certified or specializes in green building. I realize it may be difficult to find someone who has this classification who also works on small jobs but I am open for suggestions. I need to get several bids so if you has referrals for a good plumber, electrician, roofer etc....let me know.
