Hi everyone. My 9-year-old son's snow boots have been ruined, and I've been unsuccessfully looking for a replacement pair for days now. Meanwhile, he can't go out and play in all of this awesome snow because he doesn't have any appropriate footwear! So - does anyone have an outgrown pair of kids' snow boots in size 3, 3.5, or 4 (bigger kids, not toddlers) that they'd be willing to sell or give away? I am looking to do some work with the top half of a drum throne. It's really old and needs recovered. I'll supply the fabric, the drum throne, and the over all "plans" for the seat. I don't imagine this to take too long - most likely an hour or two max. I'd be willing to roll up my sleeves and shovel your drive way/side walk in exchange. [Highland Park] Couple looking for apartment to rent

My husband and I are looking for an apartment to rent in the Highland Park area for June 1st. We are in our mid-20's and both work in East Liberty. We enjoy walking to work, so we need to find an apartment close by. We don't need more than a one-bedroom apartment, but will look at anything bigger as long as it is reasonably priced. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent and a holy day of special observance. Ash Wednesday is February 17, and the traditional Penitential Liturgy with Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion will be offered at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, corner of Hampton Street and N. Shrove Tuesday comes to snowy Highland Park this week, Tuesday, February 16, and St. Andrew's Church hosts the Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner and Mardi Gras Party. Dinner served 5:30 - 7 p.m., with party games and fun for all ages. Wear a costume! St. Andrew's is located at the corner of Hampton Street and N. Euclid Avenue in Highland Park.
