The party is a benefit for a Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra's young musician's scholarship fund. The next Tai Chi Class will be on Monday, January 25th at 6:30 PM If you have been thinking about joining the Tai Chi class at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Highland Park this is a great time to start. A ten-week course for both Second Level and Basic Level students is just beginning and the next class will be on Monday, January 25th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Tai Chi, practiced by men and women of all ages, is an ancient Chinese system of exercise with slow and gentle motion that raises and balances the energy of the body leading to improved health and vitality. In addition Tai Chi can be a Martial Art or system of self-defense and a meditation in motion. Our instructor is Judy Crow who trained in the Yang style Long Form by Y.K. Chou and has taught Tai Chi for over twenty-five years in the Pittsburgh area. The fee for each 10-week course is $55.00 per person. These 1 ½ hour classes are held at St. Andrew’s located at 5801 Hampton Street, between N. Highland and N. Negley Avenues. Hi Neighbors, My agency, Lydia's Place, is holding another bridal and formal dress sale in April, and we are once again collecting new and gently used dresses. We need bridal gowns less than 10 years old and all sorts of formal dresses, as well as bridal accessories (favors, gloves, veils, etc., but no shoes please). [Highland Park] Beach/waterfront rentals Summer 2010 - suggestions

Dear Neighbors, We are hoping to get our family to the beach or to a lake this summer. Being a transplant from Massachusetts, I'm not all that familiar with where people to for that from Pittsburgh. I've heard Delaware and Rehoboth are nice. I'm also interested in lakes for a salt-free experience. I would rather not drive all the way to the Outer Banks. If anyone has had a good experience with children and a dog, I'd appreciate suggestions and specific names of rental companies or even specific properties. The only time we can't go involves the last two weeks of July. I thought of Kelly's Island in Lake Erie but was told it was boring. Thank you, Joan S. Farragut St.
