The first Wednesday of the month beginning October 6th, the Nuin Center will host â Wellness and Healing Seriesâ that includes discussions, demonstrations and dialogues. Hi all, In response to the recent post about identifying features on stolen bikes.. here are more specs on the 2 bikes that were stolen from my apartment last Tuesday. --Mint green Bianchi Road Bike (the color of Mylanta), white cork handlebar tape, royal blue clip pedals which require shoes with cleats in order to ride, skinny skinny tires, and 2 water bottle holders. Campy components. Fits a person size 5' 7'' or so. --Royal blue Cannondale Mountain bike with Rock Shocks, a hot pink waterbottle holder, bar ends (little bars on the ends of the handlebars that stick up) and very stubby tires (one is blue walled). SPD Clip pedals (designed to be used with bike shoes with cleats.. it would be hard to pedal if someone was using regular sneakers). All STX components. Fits a person 5' 7'' or so. Thanks for keeping an eye out everyone! Last night around 10:30 a metallic blue Cannondale was stolen from our porch we live on 1000 block of N.St Claire. We understand that their has numerous bike thefts within the last couple of months. In fact 4 have been stolen this week. When we filed the report the police officer informed us that most of these kids could care less about disguising the bike after taking them, so if you have had a bike stolen please email any distinct features that one can locate quickly if spotted on the street. Our Cannondale bike has light red peace sign brakes, that cannot be removed. Most of these bikes have been located around the 800 block Mellon and Portland. My husband and I know a couple of kids in the nieghborhood who might be able to help.( We hope) I hope this was helpful to those who have their bike stolen.
