Last night around 10:30 a metallic blue Cannondale was stolen from our porch we live on 1000 block of N.St Claire. We understand that their has numerous bike thefts within the last couple of months. In fact 4 have been stolen this week. When we filed the report the police officer informed us that most of these kids could care less about disguising the bike after taking them, so if you have had a bike stolen please email any distinct features that one can locate quickly if spotted on the street. Our Cannondale bike has light red peace sign brakes, that cannot be removed. Most of these bikes have been located around the 800 block Mellon and Portland. My husband and I know a couple of kids in the nieghborhood who might be able to help.( We hope) I hope this was helpful to those who have their bike stolen.
