Wellness and Healing Series First Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. FREE The Nuin Center is happy to offer a new forum for contemporary and leading edge approaches to health and healing. The first Wednesday of the month beginning October 6th, the Nuin Center will host â Wellness and Healing Seriesâ that includes discussions, demonstrations and dialogues. This series will provide an opportunity for the community to meet and interact with the speakers on the cutting edge of health care in Pittsburgh. First Wednesday, October 6th Mind-Body Medicine â the New Penicillin The first in our Wellness and the Healing Series is Mind-Body Medicine-the new Penicillin, presented by Dr. Daniel Schenck, DC. Dr. Schenck worked on staff of an alternative cancer clinic in Arizona in the early 1980âs that researched and embraced Mind-Body Medicine. He will share his experience there and how it changed the course of his and many others lives. He will discuss research in the Mind-Body Medicine field as well as demonstrate how you can put it to work in your daily experience.
