Neighbors, On behalf of the students and families of Dilworth Traditional Academy, I am writing to ask if you would be willing to support our school with a donation to the school’s silent auction which will run from April 25 through May 2, kicking off with a live event at the Union Project, to raise funds for the coming year. The money raised through this auction will directly support our children’s educational experience at the school through programs to promote extracurricular activity, support students in need, and fund the ad-hoc needs of teachers throughout the year. We are now looking for donations of artwork, handcrafted items, or art related services. Auction items may include artwork, jewelry, handmade furniture or décor, lessons, gift certificates, event tickets, gift baskets, etc. All donations are tax deductible and as a donor, you will receive publicity prior to and during the event (if desired), which will be viewed by both attendees and online bidders. Personally, there are a few fun crochet patterns I’ve been contemplating that I’m going to make happen, in addition to some balloon art for a birthday party!
