This Octave of All Saints, beginning today, November 1, is a season traditionally associated with our remembrance of the saints and heroes of Christian life through the ages--and of those departed whom we have known and loved who may not be included in the pages of the history books but whose lives and witness have been meaningful in our lives. In all, it is an occasion of the hope we share in Christ and in his victory over the powers of sin and death. We are all invited to a time of prayer and worship this evening, at St. Andrew's at 8 p.m., thankful for the good work of our St. Andrew's Choir in preparing for us the beautiful expression of this musical service.
