(Highland Park) HPCC Monthly Meeting Reminder - Thursday, April 17 at 7p.m. at Union Project
Please join us this Thursday for the April HPCC Monthly Meeting at 7p.m. at Union Project. We will be meeting in the lower level ceramics studio this month so you may want to use the side entrance on Stanton Ave. Topics for the evening include: * Nancy Levine, Beautification Committee Chair and HP Tree Planting Champion, will briefly talk about the proposed restoration of the stone wall at the end of N. Negley Avenue. * Gordon Manker will be providing a brief overview of Project 15206, an initiative being spearheaded by Sen. Ferlo's office to incorporate green storm water management techniques into the neighborhoods within the 15206 zip code. He will also be distributing information and taking preliminary sign-ups for free or reduced cost rain barrels. * Off-leash Dog Area Community Meeting #2 will be held. We will be reviewing community feedback from various online petitions and the email survey as well as getting an update on some of the other suggested locations.
