University of Pittsburgh Teen Sleep Study Opportunity!
The University of Pittsburgh is currently enrolling teenagers ages 13-15, and their parents, in a research study opportunity. All study procedures are currently being done remotely! Please see below for information: Are you a healthy teenager between the ages of 13 and 15? Or are you the parent of a healthy teenager between the ages of 13 and 15? University of Pittsburgh researchers are conducting a sleep research study to develop and test a program to improve sleep among teenagers. What does the program involve for parent and teen? * Watching a two-minute video about teenage sleep * Complete questionnaires * Meeting (virtually) with a clinician to discuss youth's sleep What else would teens be asked to do? * Completing an online sleep log on your smartphone * Wear a wristwatch device, like a Fitbit, to measure your movement and sleep * Complete computer tasks (in-person visits only) Compensation will be provided. Please email or call the number below if you would like to learn more and are interested in participating! Parents are also welcome to read more and start the pre-screening process by taking the survey in the following link: https://is.gd/tapas_parent_survey * PARENTS- Once you complete your portion of the survey, a link will automatically be sent to the email you enter under "Child's Email Address" for your child to answer questions about their sleep. If they do not have a reliable email, you are welcome to send the Child Survey to yourself and provide them with the Child Survey that way.
