*Union Project is now offering youth ceramics classes * *Youth Clay Class - Cost $150 - Saturdays, Nov 7-21, 9-11 am * Instructor: Joe Delphia Wouldn’t it be nice to keep the kids busy while you shop and clean for the holidays? Drop them off at Union Project for a three week ceramics class! This class is designed for children ages 8-15. *Squirt Clay Class - Cost $175 - Wednesdays, Oct 21-Nov 25, 4-6pm * Instructor: Cynthia Blackwell Students will explore the physical characteristics of clay and clay construction by making pinch pots, beads and medallions, decorative plates and bowls, and ceramic figures. They will learn how to integrate clay and fibers, practice the African tradition of Mangbetu Pressed Coils, and use additive and subtractive techniques to alter the surface of clay. This class is designed for children ages 5-8.
