Pittsburgh Food Justice Fund - Working for an Equitable Food System in Your Neighborhood
(message forwarded) In December 2022, The *Pittsburgh Food Policy Council (PFPC) and the Food Justice Fund (FJF) Committee *successfully campaigned for the City of Pittsburgh to establish a Food Justice Fund. *City Council designated $3 million to its 2023 budget to create the Fund.* Next week, the FJF Committee will submit its proposed plan for the grant program for City Council approval. *Once approved, we are one step closer to launching the first-round of grant funding designated to create community-led, equitable food systems and address food apartheid!* *See the attached flier for more information *on the the FJF program.
