Subject: Support Your Library November 8 Our Library, Our Future is a community-based initiative to provide financial support for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. A referendum will be on the November 8 ballot asking voters to approve a 0.25 mills special tax to be levied on all real estate in the City of Pittsburgh. This is equivalent to $25.00 per year or $2.09 per month on $100,000 of assessed value. All money raised as a result of this tax can be used only to aid in the maintenance and operation of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and cannot be used for any other purpose.
