Throughout history music has emerged from those in servitude and slavery. The traditional spiritual, music from concentration camps, and even the reggae of Bob Marley, all combine to form music that speaks from the heart and soul of the oppressed. The Choir presents a concert of music that finds hope in the sorrow of servile circumstance. If you've not heard the 100+ singers of the Bach Choir (www.bachchoirpittsburgh.org), -- you are in for a treat.
