The Promise of Freedom, Friday May 9th, 7:00pm

Cost: $5.00 or two non-perishable food items at the door

Open to the community

Now in their 74th season, the Bach Choir will present 'The Promise of Freedom.' Throughout history music has emerged from those in servitude and slavery. The traditional spiritual, music from concentration camps, and even the reggae of Bob Marley, all combine to form music that speaks from the heart and soul of the oppressed. The Choir presents a concert of music that finds hope in the sorrow of servile circumstance.

If you've not heard the 100+ singers of the Bach Choir (
www.bachchoirpittsburgh.org), -- you are in for a treat.

This will be an inspiration, as well as a 'cheap date' night, family and/or relative night, or simply a chance to hear some fantastic music in a beautiful setting.

Cost at the Door: $5.00 or two non-perishable food items.  Please join us.
