Hi everyone, Today two children on bikes came to my house to ask if we would buy a DVD as part of a fund-raising event for the Boys' and Girls' Club of America. They had only the DVDs (about fitness, with a McDonald's logo on it) and no documentation that the Boys' and Girls' Clubs would be involved in sending little kids door-to-door selling things. I did call Boys' and Girls' Club (a local branch, and then the administrative offices for this area) to double-check that this is not by some fluke actually legitimate. Naturally, it turns out that, like the Pittsburgh Public Schools, the Boys' and Girls' Clubs don't send children out fund-raising to strangers. Just thought folks would want to know. -EL
