[Highland Park] Violence at King Bowl
I live on King Ave, and my kids (aged 8-14) are old enough to go sledding by themselves at the King Bowl, especially given that their grandparents live next door to the sledding hill. After today, I will not allow them there by themselves. 3 kids, presumably siblings, 1 girl and 2 boys, came and violently attacked my children, then ran away up Callowhill. At this point, I would like to THANK the adults who were there for yelling at them and chasing them to find their parents/address. The oldest boy (about 14 or 15) asked what they were doing, and was told they were having a snowball fight. Then all 3 threw many snowballs at close range to hurt, and the younger boy picked up our flexible flyer (you know, the sled made of wood with metal rails) and threw it at my 10 year-old son, which knocked him to the ground for the first time. After falling to the ground a second time, my son was punched many times all over his face and body. My 12 year old daughter tried to break up the fight, and was also punched in the face for her troubles. They all laughed as they ran off.
