Hi neighbors, Piggy-backing on Nancy’s email below, I would just like to add a reminder to please pick up your trash when enjoying time in the park, whether for jazz or anything else! The amount of litter after Jazz in the Park the last 2 weekends has been pretty bad; I spent 2 hours on Monday evening picking up trash. If you have a litter grabber, or even just some gloves and a bag, consider spending some time on any nice evening helping to clean up our beautiful park! Thanks! Jazz in Highland Park is in full swing and hundreds of jazz lovers are visiting our park every Sunday evening. Please help keep it looking beautiful by joining the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and your neighbors Wednesday, August 21st from 5-7 PM for some weed pulling. Meet at the fountain and help for a few minutes or the entire 2 hours. Every weed pulled helps.
