Hi, Folks, Puppy teeth have damaged a tiny piece of the power cord to my scanner; it is a great scanner but replacing the part I need (cord from wall to transformer) costs about $80 (more than I paid for the scanner). The cord that only costs $19 is just fine. Splicing (so far) has not worked... If anyone happens to be disposing of an Epson scanner and doesn't need the power supplies anymore, let me know. Thanks.
