I purchased this sofa from Urban Outfitters about 8 months ago.  It is a futon, but does not look like a typical futon.  The base is solid wood slats that slide out when you want to open into a bed.  There are no rips or stains on it of any kind.  There is a slight tufting on the back.  The fabric resembles a charcoal wool...its a beautiful modern piece.  It is firm though!!  I think that over time it will soften up.  I have decided to sell it because I am changing some things around in my apartment. The retail price was $700.00 at the store, and I paid $249.95 on sale.  I am asking $150.  I do live on the 3rd floor of a walk up, and I can help get it down the steps, but you will have to either be able to help, or bring help...
